Chicken and Rice

Put 1 tablesoon of bacon grease in 1 1/2 qt Microhearth Dutch Oven and microwave till grease is liquefied.

 

Cook 4 or 5 pieces of chicken in bacon grease.

 

6 minutes skin side down, flip, than 3 minutes.

 

Remove chicken and let pan cool for a few minutes.

 

Do not pour out grease.

 

When pan has cooled add 1/2 cup raw rice, two teaspoons of chicken bullion powder, and 1 1/2 cups of water.

 

Stir to mix everything thoroughly.

 

Add chicken back into pan.

 

Cook for 15 - 17 minutes.

 

Let stand for 10 minutes.
